Someone just told me that people who CC but don’t wear a ballistic vest are just LARPers not serious about their self defense

“That would be a ballistic vest. Serious people who have conducted a threat analysis and decided there is a real risk of a life and death confrontation wear a ballistic vest. People who carry a gun but dont wear a vest are serious about defense, they just are LARPing.

In general, they dont ACTUALLY care about making anyone safer, they just want to feel like they are in control and have agency.
