Good food brands?

I see a lot of commotion over Purina and it not being a good animal food brand because it is now owned by nestle, but not bad reviews over it? This is what I’m feeding my cats currently. This is a new type of dry food I’m giving my cats (Azula, 3Y, Gina, 11 Months) Why does it say not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO, but also says it is formulated to meet the nutritional levels by the AAFCO. Am I confused about something? Azula has been sick the past week and a half vomiting after she finishes eating dry food and it looks like she’s not even chewing her food. It all comes up whole and chunky. I’ve been keeping an eye on her and reduced a lot of her intake of dry food and hoping this one won’t hurt her belly. I forgot the name of the new last bag but I threw it away since it seemed to make her throwing up worse. The bag prior to that was wellness, but it seemed like they didn’t like it much, but ate it out of boredom. I was just waiting for that bag to finish to see what else would be better for them. They seem to do very well on the cans. Is there anything I can do better to make their breakfast and dinners better? I also have cat broth I sometimes add and the instinct topper with pumpkin or the vitamins.
