About the music video for “Aviva”

Aviva by C418 is a wonderful gift from the excursions album, as it was originally a gift for someone else from Daniel. One thing that is still bugging me however is the meaning behind the music video for the song. If anyone could shed some light on the meaning behind these strange visuals, it would be most certainly appreciated.
