Estate Sale Score
My older Sherwood amp gave up the ghost, so I hopped on Facebook marketplace to get another one. Didn’t expect to be buying speakers, but I found a deal too good to pass up: Sherwood RX-4103 amp and some mystery meat “Cat” towers for $10. Well, the seller was going to give them to me for free, but I already felt like I was robbing her mother’s grave, and she was very nice to me. The Klipsch R-41Ms were purchased back in 2021, along with the LP60. Everything sounds pretty good together! I might experiment with speaker placement a bit more, but right now I just have them run as 2 separate channels, so I can go down to just the bookshelves if I don’t feel like waking the neighbors. All in for about $210. Not including the records, lol.
