Has Buddhism Incorporated any Western philosophy into it?

Both the East and the West have largely been separated from millennia and both societies had to come up with their own ways of dealing with suffering. The West answer to suffering was science or bending the world to your will in a sense. Eastern philosophies seem to focus more on learning to accept suffering, are learning to view the world in a different way. It's fascinating to me that two societies on one world would come up with such seemingly different philosophies. In the last few centuries many westerners including myself have really taken to Eastern philosophies, one of the biggest seems to be Buddhism. So many Buddhist beliefs I find fascinating and have incorporated into my life as have many others in the West. My question is were there any Western concepts that Buddhist found fascinating, and if there are have they adopted any of these beliefs?
