Why is Kawaki still afraid of Momoshiki?

Momoshiki can't revive back into his original body, he could only control over Boruto's body.

Even if he revived the the Divine Tree, Naruto's in that other dimension and Momoshiki wouldn't be interested in him - at this point he can't have more kyuubi chakra, anyway, because it was all used up in Baryon mode (now it might change due to Himawari's kyuubi - but she's not even someone he really cares about - he really only cares about Naruto), and he's even willing to give his life to protect Naruto.

So if Momoshiki isn't interested in Naruto anymore, and Kawaki doesn't care about anyone else, and without Momoshiki doing something Naruto will just stay safe forever, why does he want to prevent him from coming back?

Is there something I'm missing?
