I think im stuck

I just tried to start the blasphemous 2 dlc on my switch I have a 100% save from a while ago and when i started searching for new stuff i saw new rooms on the map and new enemies but after a couple of hours it seems im stuck.

I searched for online and saw that there should be a bird in a room and a new noc inside a prison? I found the rooms of those npc but the rooms are empty

Im missing something? Do i need to reinstall or start a new game?
