Firmware update bs

I've owned my P1S for almost 2 months now, and I am used to printing through the Bambu Handy app due to it's simplicity. Now with all the firmware update bs, should I be worried and set my printer to LAN only? If I have to print the old school way via SD card then so be it. Bambu said the update is only for the X1, but assured that it'll arrive for other printers in the near future.
