Ethics question: as a cake seller would you deliver a cake to a customer and you became sick half a day before delivery?

I recently got a last minute order 5 days ago. I was feeling crampy and related it to pms. I felt better and then it came back with a vengeance. Went away and I was well enough to bake and decorate the cake. It’s now 12 hours before delivery and the cake is missing only the writing (chocolate letters), but I am back to feeling nauseous, I threw up, cramping and a low grade fever. I have my food handlers and am in process of getting my ServSafe manager, plus common sense, would tell me to NOT hand over this cake and refund the customer their money. However, I am being told by family members that I shouldn’t refund the cake because it’s already decorated and run the risk of disappointing the customer and getting a bad review.

Is that something to even care about? I mean especially when the baker is sick?
