How have you made the biggest and most difficult decisions of your life?

By this I mean things like: -Stay or move to a new place or city -Stay in or leave a relationship -Accept a new job or not -Have children or not -Go back to college or not -Stay married or get divorced

The big, life altering decisions in life. Things that will clearly alter the course of your life or lifestyle in some way. These are just examples, there of course could be other things. But what strategies or tools do you use to work through a big decision or dilemma?

Are you more likely to follow your heart or your head? Your gut or the facts? What has worked for you to help you to make a tough choice and were you ultimately happy with your decision?

Feeling like I'm in one of those big moments and struggling to make a decision. I'm in analysis paralysis. I see valid pros and cons of both, and I can't tell if it's logic, fear, or disinterest that's keeping me from making the choice to move on in the direction of a big change.

Thank you for your help.
