Dublin Airport Terminal 2 100ml liquid questions

I've seen conflicting information about this online and I know the regulations are changing again in September but I fly in August and I am wondering, with the new scanners in terminal 2 is it

a) 100ml restrictions DO apply and you don't need to take them out of your bag

B) 100ml restrictions DONT apply and you don't need to take them out of your bag.

I cannot seem to get a definite answer, the official answer seems to be A but everyone online says B. I don't want to chance B and have my stuff taking, I am heading away with only cabin luggage. Does anyone know which is it?
