Best cheeseburger in the city?

I'm only here for 3 days before going back to NYC. Looking for a cheeseburger that'll live rent free in my head for the near future.

I've been here twice before to work on my photography book but never had the opportunity to enjoy any good food.

Any insights? I'm a big fan of burgers and spicy food but looking for a 9/10 burger.

Day 1: I picked up a double cheeseburger and fries from Au Cheval since my hotel is 5 min away. Will update.

Day 1 Au Cheval Review: I'm not sure if it's the best burger I've ever had. It was really really good. There was nothing I didn't like and nothing I would think to change. Tomorrow I'm gonna try red hot ranch. Then Leavitt Street Inn & Tavern later later in the day.

Day 2: Red Hot Ranch was amazing. It was exactly what I think of when I think of the best drunk burger and I was completely sober. Super delicious. Reminds me of 10th St Burger in Manhattan
