Dual Monitor Mount on an Ikea Linnmon

I am currently looking to upgrade from my single monitor setup to a dual monitor setup. However, I have seen people complaining about how mounts can break Ikea desks because the material is not that strong. I currently am using a desk setup with two drawers and a leg in the middle of my desk. If I get a dual monitor mount, will it break my desk? If it does, what are my other options?
