Best place to post an art comic?

I've been wanting to start posting a small comic online, I was thinking either tumblr (on a sideblog) or instagram (on an account specifically for it). The reason I choose one of those instead of something like tapas or webtoon is because I feel the idea I have is better for one of those other platforms.

I wanted to know if anyone had experience with this type of things or if anyone had any opinions on the subject on where is better to post? I have never posted art on tumblr so I'm not sure.
