Thermal nerf is coming, but I don't know why people are still whining.

Each equipment has its own place in a map and situation. Close quarter automatic is just the best, while far is sniper. Indoor is best with IND70 than thermal. Doesn't mean one has to be nerfed to the ground.

If you only run MPX and complain Mosin is so OP from 200m away hitting you while you zero in two body lengths above the target and still fail to hit at the same distance, it's a you problem. Will you also complain about nerfing Mosin?

Point being, if an item is available in game, you choosing not to utilise it is your issue. Don't rally your high horse comrades because the game doesn't baby you.
