[S2 Spoiler] About the ending of episode 3….
It’s gonna more to get this thought of my head.
I’m so FRUSTRATED that Vi and Cait “broke-up”. Does it have a good reason and a development for that to happen? Yes, it does and I think it is well build. But I’m still angry at it, because the sensation the scene gave to me is that they’re not gonna make up and end together.
The main reason for this anger is that the most common narrative around LGBT+ couples on different medias is that they’re gonna have a tragic and hurtful story, and all of that to they not ending together at the end. I’m so tired of this Bury Your Gays trope, there is the movies Boys Don’t Cry, Carol, Brokeback Mountain, the game Las of Us 2, and other series like Buffy, the marjority of stories are this kind of trope.
This stories are well developed, but they’re not supposed to be the major amount. Let us have some peaceful ones, life is already sad, having somethinf to make the heart melt in a good way, to bring us hope.
I don’t expect Arcane to have a happy ending, I think it’s gonna be bittersweet, but the possibility of Vi and Cait not getting together makes me want to drop the series.
I know that there will be a lot of disagreement and rage about all of this, because this is the internet. I just wanted to let this thing out.
