New Apostolic, how do you mange split ends?

Hi! I just recently joined the Pentecostal religion and I'm used to cutting my hair every 1.5-2 months to get rid of split ends. But I've decided to not do that anymore, to be closer to God. How do you guys deal with split ends, or any tips and tricks to avoid them?
