I love how Amber thinks of herself as this sophisticated, sexy city girl (who wears formal dresses over rattiy leggings and carries plastic purses intended for children) and then relays all the juicy details about playing bingo because that was her sole outing for the week and her mom had to drive her.

The incongruence between her true and ideal self truly tickles me.
