Aitah for berating the kid that says ‘idibiks’?

So on the school bus last year, there was a girl who we’ll call Shannon for privacy reasons. In the beginning of the previous school year, Shannon always sat on her phone and said nothing. The bus was peaceful until one day she said the word idibiks in the most high pitched voice she could do.

At first, we all took it as a joke, but then it got progressively worse. Now you may be thinking this kid was a preschooler. No. She was eleven almost twelve at the time. None of us knew what the word idibiks meant but we didn’t like it. We still don’t know what it means.

Eventually, the bus nanny started saying that if Shannon kept repeating the word idibiks she’d get kicked out of the bus. Did she stop? Absolutely not. She kept filing complaints about the bus nanny threatening her too.

One day, she elongated the word idibiks to last around fifteen seconds and I have had enough. I told her that if she wanted to day the word idibiks she could do that in her own house as she’s not the only one riding the school bus and that if she was going to say it around us, we had to know what it meant and that I thought she was younger than five the moment she said it. She then started calling me a bully for not letting her express herself. Does anyone know what idibiks means? Aitah?
