are one-handed backhands

(this is a technique question, using pros as an example. hope this is the right sub)

I've noticed that a couple of the one-handed backhand players (specifically Shapovalov and Tsitsipas) have enormous misses on their backhand, usually with the ball skying upward. I almost never see such large misses from two-handed backhand pro players.

Is this simply a function of these two specific players? Or is there something to the technique of the one-handed backhand that makes its misses look far more extreme?
